Ceramic Tile Gallery: All our ceramic tiles are completely hand-painted and each tile may vary slightly. We feel this adds to the uniqueness and value of each piece. Our tiles are Not a decal or a photo-transfer process: but are truly hand-painted with many layers of ceramic pigments. Pigments are painted onto the tile face and when kiln-fired at about 2,000 degrees, we get a GLASS-LIKE surface that is permanent. The designs do not wash off and are just like the tiles already in your own home. We follow a strict INDUSTRY STANDARD so that these tiles may be used anywhere but for the floor. Counter-tops, backsplashes, shower stalls and bathroom areas, in general are an example. Additionally, they can be bought cemented into "tile furniture" accessories, which includes boxes, mirrors, message boards, trays and framed art. These can be permanently installed Or mounted on a board, custom-framed and hung on your walls.
Tiles are available as :"singles" (ie coasters, paperweights) OR as part of our accessories line OR for installation in your home or office. As such, they may even add to the re-sale value of your property! You may not need many tiles at all to create your own UNIQUE design-- a few tiles and some "field" tiles--inexpensive filler tiles which you can buy at a local home improvement store--can be used together for your personal design statement! - Our tiles are available generally in 6-inch or 4 1/4 inch squares. Some designs are available in an 8 inch size too. Please note: Some sizes are NOT available for all designs--inquire please.
Not sure of colors? Order a Test Tile! Generally, we use a 4 1/4 inch tile divided into quarters - see up to four colors per tile. Email for details.

Mimi
the Duck:
| Mimi is based on an actual female Mallard Duck friend of ours! Seriously, she is depicted in pale warm beige with "dimensional" deep brown markings. Her bill is a combination of brown-black and salmon color at the tip. Her feet are a "dimensional" medium orange. Her eye is brown with a black center, and is also "dimensional" The tile background is a combination of medium and light greens, applied randomly and the placement of these greens will vary with each tile. Dimensional tiles are textured and textured. Available in your choice of tile accessories shown below. |
