All items are made from high quality ALDER WOOD, a non-endangered hardwood tree. Most pieces are available in Natural Alder wood or Alder wood treated with a Rosewood stain. A clear coating is applied for durability.

Note that most items use a 6 inch square ceramic tile. Exceptions: The Small Tray uses two (2) 4 1/4 inch tiles set side by side. There are special designs for this item, below. AND Also, 8" square tiles can be had framed. Tiles are epoxied in place and are permanently installed. Standard grouting material (white) is used to fill any gap between the framework and the tile itself.
